Yesterday, we were out in Earby working alongside the Refuse Collectors, ticketing and removing vehicles causing an obstruction on the back streets.
This vehicle was left blocking the back street off Colne Road. We removed it from the area so that the refuse collectors can continue to do their job. As we've previously said, these back streets need to be kept clear for a number of reasons and organisations, including emergency services, who need to be able to access the rear of residential properties. Whilst we appreciate that there is a lack of parking spaces close to peoples homes, blocking these back streets is not a viable option and is a concern local residents have raised to us. If there is not a space available close to your property, cars will have to be parked further away. We will be out again!
